P&O Ferries Freight have confirmed to NI Ferry Site that NORBAY will be making a one-off sailing from Liverpool to Larne tonight for FREIGHT ONLY due to the red weather warning in place in the Republic of Ireland. This is instead of sailings between Liverpool and Dublin which have been cancelled, with the next scheduled from Liverpool to Dublin tomorrows (02/03/18) 21:00 departure.  The P&O Ferries Dublin terminal has been closed since around 15:00 this afternoon. NORBAY is expected to leave Liverpool this evening at around 21:15, arriving in Larne early on Friday morning.

Update 1/03/18 @ 20:15:  NORBAY is just arriving in Liverpool from Dublin now, so it is highly unlikely she will sail at 21:15.  She is currently being assisted out of the lock in Liverpool by a tug.

Update 2/03/18 @ 00:35:  NORBAY is presently going through the lock in Liverpool, assisted by the tug SMIT SANDON, with a destination of Larne.
