P&O Ferries EUROPEAN SEAWAY will be returning to service at Larne during September it has been confirmed. Until a few days ago the normally Dover based vessel had been at Larne since mid-May this year as dry docking relief vessel for EUROPEAN HIGHLANDER and EUROPEAN CAUSEWAY. At present she is in warm layup at Dunkirk until she is required either on her usual Dover to Calais route or on the Larne to Cairnryan service.
According to the P&O Ferries booking engine, EUROPEAN SEAWAY will be in service from Sunday September 1st until Saturday 21st September inclusive. She will be on the route in place of EUROPEAN CAUSEWAY which had a much briefer spell in dry dock than planned this year after delays in the return of EUROPEAN HIGHLANDER from her own planned maintenance.
