European Causeway to return to Larne tonight from dry dock

P&O Ferries EUROPEAN CAUSEWAY is currently on her way back to Larne from dry dock at Cammell Laird. She left dry dock 7 at the Birkenhead facility at high tide after 4pm with assistance from the tug CMS WARRIOR.

At present EUROPEAN CAUSEWAY is still expected to re-enter service in place of EUROPEAN SEAWAY from 04:00 this coming Wednesday, 10th July.

Unconfirmed reports say that EUROPEAN CAUSEWAY will return to dry dock in September, with ‘Seaway’ again providing cover on the Carnryan to Larne ferry service in order for this years planned works to be completed.

As previously reported ‘Causeway’s’ dry dock was much shorter than originally intended due to the return of EUROPEAN HIGHLANDER being delayed due to problems at discovered during her planned dry docking.
