W.B. yeats to Dry Dock During October
As of this morning Irish Ferries W.B. YEATS has returned to the Dublin to Holyhead route in place of EPSILON. The latter has switched to the Dublin to Cherbourg service as planned for the “off season”. W.B. YEATS is to dry dock during October, with the Irish Ferries booking engine indicating she will finish with the 08:15 ex Holyhead on the 12th. ULYSSES will operate the route on her own until EPSILON returns from France on the 14th. W.B YEATS returns with the 14:30 ex Dublin on the 19th.
Pembroke Berthing Trials for Yeats?
Throughout the period there will be no Ireland to France service so EPSILON can cover the Holyhead route. There have been reports online that W.B. YEATS will conduct berthing trials at Pembroke on her way to dry dock, which is presumably to be at Falmouth. (Update 03.10.19: It has been posted online that W.B. YEATS will be going to Dunkerque for dry docking). The Irish Ferries Ireland to France schedule for next year was published last week, showing no change of Irish port. This is contrary to rumours that the company was considering a switch back to Rosslare.
