Irish Ferries’ chartered Ro-Pax EPSILON arrived in Belfast this morning, following ULYSSES‘ return to service yesterday. ULYSSES has returned to her normal Dublin – Holyhead roster having been in dry-dock at Cammell-Laird Birkenhead since February 16.

W.B. YEATS, which had been filling in for ULYSSES, has replaced EPSILON on the Dublin – Cherbourg route. EPSILON is currently in Harland & Wolff’s Belfast Dry Dock. According to Belfast Harbour Booking, she is expected to leave dry dock on March 18.

MEGA EXPRESS FOUR continues in service as the direct replacement for EPSILON on her Dublin – Holyhead weekday and Dublin – Cherbourg weekend schedule. The Rosslare – Pembroke ferry ISLE OF INISHMORE is also expected to dry-dock this year. This is expected to take around three weeks during April.

Reports are building from Greece that Irish Ferries owner Irish Continental Group are to charter BLUE STAR 1. Currently the duration and purpose of this potential charter are unclear. We will post an update as details become clear.
