Stena Line invites all landlubbers to a party in aid of Cash For Kids charity

LEADING ferry company Stena Line is calling on all budding Jack Sparrows and Princess Elsas to experience an unforgettable day at sea on its Pirates and Princesses Cruise.

On Sunday, October 16, Stena Superfast will be playing host to a day of dressing up and adventure, with a treasure trove of activities on board such as dancing, crafts and karaoke, guaranteed to put a smile on the kids’ faces.

Not only does the day promise to be a fun-filled one, but it will also raise funds for Cool FM and Downtown Radio’s Cash for Kids, with all proceeds from ticket sales going towards the charitable appeal.

Diane Poole, Head of PR and Communications at Stena Line, has encouraged people to get on board with the appeal and buy tickets for the Cruise:

“We are really pleased at Stena Line to continue our involvement with Cool FM’s Cash For Kids fundraiser,” Diane said.

“The initiative helps disadvantaged children and families all over Northern Ireland and just buying a ticket to our Pirates and Princesses Cruise can do much for somebody less fortunate.

“We hope as many young pirates and princesses as possible will come along with their parents for what will be a day to remember, and help us raise as much money as we can for a very worthy cause,” Diane continued.

The ship departs from Belfast port at 11.30, and arrives back at 17.45 after sailing across to Cairnryan and back. Onboard, as well as kids entertainment including story-telling, face-painting and a competition for best dressed, the whole family can take advantage of the variety of food and drink, as well as on-board shopping, for which a £5 discount voucher is available for those who spend £25 or more.

Tickets are available for just £12, and due to the one-off nature of the event, they are expected to sell out fast.
