According to the Stena Line booking engine, STENA MERSEY is off service from her arrival in Belfast on the morning Sunday 28th January until the following evening. A quick check of the online freight timetable reveals that STENA PRECISION is covering the Sunday morning from Belfast and evening from Liverpool sailings on Sunday. The following weekend sees STENA LAGAN off service from her arrival in Belfast on Sunday the 4th February until the following evening, with STENA PRECISION again operating the Sunday morning service from Belfast and the return from Liverpool that evening. This absence is believed to be for planned maintenance and perhaps a quick dry docking. Last Saturday STENA SUPERFAST VIII was off service for a quick dry docking and STENA SUPERFAST VII is receiving the same today in Harland & Wolff’s Belfast Dry Dock. With none of these vessels requiring a full overhaul this year it is only necessary to dry dock them quickly for surveys.
