SEATRUCK PERFORMANCE scheduled to be in service from Sunday
The former Stena Line Belfast – Heysham freight vessel STENA PERFORMER emerged from number 5 dock at Cammell-Laird earlier today renamed SEATRUCK PERFORMANCE and in full Seatruck Ferries livery. The 142m long “Heysham Max” vessel had been on charter to Stena Line from Seatruck until last week, but is now required by Seatruck themselves due to growth on their Warrenpoint – Heysham route. She entered the dry-dock in Birkenhead last Thursday in full Stena Line livery.

Sister-ship STENA PRECISION is in the wet basin at Cammell-Laird awaiting her own repainting and renaming to her original name of SEATRUCK PRECISION. She will join SEATRUCK PERFORMANCE on the Warrenpoint to Heysham route once her dry-docking is complete. SEATRUCK PERFORMANCE is currently at Seatruck’s Liverpool terminal, and is currently timetabled to takeover the schedule of SEATRUCK PANORAMA from Sunday.

STENA PERFORMER has been replaced on Stena’s Belfast – Heysham route by STENA SCOTIA, while STENA PRECISION was replaced by STENA FORERUNNER on Monday. The transition has not been without incident however, with STENA FORERUNNER running at reduced speed on yesterdays sailing to Birkenhead.
