As has been reported elsewhere, Stena Nordica will make a brief trip up to Belfast for a short dry docking at Harland and Wolff on the 15th and 16th of this month. Stena Performer is currently at H&W for the weekend – cover is being provided by Stena Hibernia which usually lays over during the weekend.

Some bits are trickling through about the refit schedules for the Irish Sea, but I cannot give any dates as of yet. Sources are telling me that Stena Feronia WILL make a return to Belfast though to provide cover on the Liverpool run – it is a bit of a no-brainer really when you consider she is now surplus to requirements at Stena RoRo and was also designed for the Belfast-Liverpool route. Lets hope her visit is not as eventful as her last!

Stena Nordica is widely expected to provide refit cover for the rest of the fleet once displaced at Dublin by (the still to be officially confirmed) Stena Superfast X early in the new year.  This will give photographers another opportunity to capture her in Loch Ryan with her half-sisters – P&O’s European Causeway and European Ambassador.
