UPDATE 01.08.18 @ 15:00:  STENA SCOTIA is now on her way to Belfast from Holland.  She is currently expected to arrive on Friday afternoon.

Former Belfast to Heysham vessel STENA SCOTIA (ex SCOTIA SEAWAYS, MAERSK EXPORTER) is to return to Belfast as widely expected.  According to the live timetable on Stena Line’s freight website, she will cover the dry docking of sister-ship STENA HIBERNIA from the 21:00 sailing ex Belfast on August 4th, having arrived in the port from the North Sea that evening.  The Belfast Harbour booking system shows that the ships swap places after STENA HIBERNIA discharges her load from Heysham and shifts to Harland and Wolff.  Following the return of STENA PERFORMER and STENA PRECISION to Seatruck later in August it is likely STENA SCOTIA will stay on the Heysham run given her suitable size for the Lancashire Port.

STENA SCOTIA is currently covering for STENA TRANSIT on the Killingholme to Hoek van Holland route, having been released earlier in the month from her regular route by the chartered MISTRAL.

STENA SCOTIA has already been dry docked herself (in Schiedam), having done so before releasing STENA TRANSIT for her dry docking in the same location. STENA TRANSIT will release STENA SCOTIA on August 1st giving the latter vessel time to get to Belfast in time to release her sister.
