CONNEMARA (ex ASTERION / NORMAN ASTURIAS / BALTIC AMBER / BORJA / STENA AUSONIA) imo: 9349760
CONNEMARA is a Brittany Ferries Ro-Pax vessel completed in 2007 and chartered from Stena RoRo. She is one of the Visentini series of vessels and was originally to be named STENA AUSONIA before being sub-chartered to Balearia who renamed her BORJA. Stena RoRo purchased her from a company related to the shipyard later in 2007, but the charter to Balearia continued. Further charters to AVE Lines, DFDS, LD Lines, Intershipping, and Anek Lines followed before she was chartered by Brittany Ferries to open the new route between Cork and Santander in 2018, renamed CONNEMARA.
