PATRIA SEAWAYS is a Ro-Pax ferry which is owned and operated by DFDS. She was originally delivered to Stena RoRo as STENA TRAVELLER as a part-sister to the then STENA CHALLENGER (current LEIF ERICSON).
Since her delivery by Norwegian yard Fosen MEK in 1992, PATRIA SEAWAYS has served a number of different operators in Northern Europe. The include Stena Line, Sealink Stena Line, TT Line, P&O Ferries, and DFDS.
PATRIA SEAWAYS presently has capacity for around 1-680 lame metres of freight. Her passenger capacity was increased from 120 to 250 in 2001.
DFDS is to replace one of its ferries on the Rosslare - Dunkerque route with a Baltic Sea vessel and implement a new timetable on the route.
