Remontowa (Remontowa Shiprepair Yard S.A.)
Gdańska Stocznia “Remontowa” im. J. Piłsudskiego S.A.
The Remontowa shipyard in Gdansk, Poland specialises in the repair and conversion of ships. In recent years they have become a popular choice for ferry companies across Northern Europe for maintenance and conversion. For example STENA SUPERFAST VII and VIII were converted from overnight ferries to day ferries at the Remontowa yard. Other customers include P&O Ferries, DFDS, Finnlines, Brittany Ferries, and BC Ferries (of Canada).
Remontowa have also constructed a number of new vessels in recent years, notably the Caledonian MacBrayne ferry FINNLAGAN.
