Stena RoRo is a vessel acquisition, sales, and chartering company which is part of the Stena “sphere” of companies. The company is a sister organisation to Stena Line and handles the acquisition and disposal of vessels for that ferry operator and others outside the Stena group of companies.
French operator Brittany Ferries revealed earlier that they are in the final stages of negotiating the charter of a Visentini-built vessel from Stena RoRo which will allow CONNEMARA to be moved elsewhere.
AVIC Weihai have completed the lifting into place of all the pre-fabricated cabin units onto Stena Estrid, and started fitting cabin units to Stena Edda.
Steel cutting began today on what will be the fifth Stena E-Flexer to be built for Stena RoRo at AVIC Weihai, which will be long term bareboat chartered to DFDS.

Stena RoRo has purchased the ferry Yamato from the Japanese shipping company Hankyu Ferry. The vessel will be rebuilt at a shipyard in Europe and be fully adapted to European standards, after which it will be chartered out.

Brittany Ferries has today confirmed the charter of two brand new cruise-ferries to serve its long-haul UK to Spain routes. Both ships will be built at the Avic International Weihai shipyard in China to the Stena E-Flexer design, with the first arriving in time for the 2021 holiday season.
