A NEPITA (ex STENA SUPERFAST X / DIEPPE SEAWAYS / MOLIÈRE / SEAFRANCE MOLIÈRE / JEAN NICOLI / SUPERFAST X) imo: 9211511
STENA SUPERFAST X was one of two Ro-Pax ferries which operated Stena Line’s Holyhead – Dublin service. She was completed in 2002 as SUPERFAST X for Attica Holdings’ Superfast Ferries subsidiary as the final vessel of the four ship Superfast VII series completed by Howaldtswerke-Deutsche Werft (HDW) in Kiel, Germany.
As-built her sister-ships are the current STENA SUPERFAST VII, STENA SUPERFAST VIII, and ATLANTIC VISION. Along with her as-built sisters, she was built specifically to operate Superfast Ferries’ new Baltic Sea service between Hanko (Finland) and Rostock (Germany), a service which was sold along with its remaining vessels SUPERFAST VII-IX to Estonia’s Tallink in 2006 – just 5 years after it was established. SUPERFAST X left the route much earlier, however, having moved to the new Rosyth – Zeebrugge service in 2004, before being sold by Superfast Ferries in 2016.
Since 2015 she has operated opposite STENA ADVENTURER on Stena Line’s Holyhead – Dublin route as STENA SUPERFAST X, following an extensive refit in Gdynia (Poland) to make her more suitable for the role and up to “Stena Standards”. She was replaced in early 2020 by the first of Stena’s new E-Flexer ferries, STENA ESTRID. She was subsequently rebuilt as a night ferry and chartered to Corsica Ferries as A NEPITA.
