Stena Line’s new Belfast – Birkenhead ferry STENA EDDA has finally reached Europe after a journey from China lasting almost a month. The new ship will take on bunkers and supplies at Algeciras before setting a course for her new home waters in the U.K.

She is currently expected to enter service during March on the Birkenhead to Belfast route with sailings already available to book on the Stena Line website.  STENA EDDA is virtually identical to STENA ESTRID from a passenger perspective.  She has 175 cabins and significantly larger passenger areas that the ship she replaces.  For more information about the onboard facilities and photographs taken onboard STENA EDDA see our STENA ESTRID feature here.
