Irish Ferries brand-new Ireland to France flagship W.B. YEATS is currently leaving Flensburger Schiffbau-Gesellschaft in Germany, with an indicated destination of Cherbourg.  With Cherbourg being her French port of call it is likely she will conduct berthing trials at the port en-route to Dublin.  At present her estimated time of arrival in the French port is in the early hours of the 19th of December.

As reported by NIFS, W.B. YEATS was “delivered” to Irish Ferries owner Irish Continental Group on Friday.  It had been thought she would leave for Ireland on Sunday, but an eagle eyed member of the Ferries! Facebook group spotted that she was already on the move.  She left the yard at around 14:15 this afternoon in the company of the tug KITZEBERG.
