Stena Line today launched the hygge recline lounge, a new way to travel on the Belfast to Cairnryan route. Hygge (pronounced hue.gah) is a Danish term with no direct English equivalent which means enjoying life, slowing down, taking time for yourself, living in the moment and creating joy and cosiness wherever you are.  Stena Line believe the hygge lounge will allow you to do just that.

The hygge lounge is situated on deck 7 midships adjacent to the red stairwell on both Stena Superfast VII and VIII.  Each of the 36 large comfortable reclined chairs has its own dedicated reading light, USB and power socket, and a table.  There are also large (muted) flatscreen TV’s so guests can keep up to date whilst unwinding and relaxing.  The lounge decor features soft colour tones (and lighting), and large windows to watch the sea go by.  Access is £5 per person via a code which is given at check-in or after upgrading onboard at Guest Services access.  Children under 8 years old will not be permitted in the Hygge lounge.
