Articles which involve the former passenger and vehicle ferry Lopi/Penelope/Penelope A, constructed in 1975 by Schichau-Unterwesser for Townsend Thoresen as European Express/European Gateway. On the 19th of December 1982 she capsized after colliding in fog with Speedlink Vanguard with the loss of 6 lives. She was later rebuilt in Greece and survived until 2013 when she was scrapped in Turkey.
