Holland Norway Lines declared bankrupt
Ferry company Holland Norway Lines has been declared bankrupt by a Dutch court after its services were suspended last week.
ROMANTIKA is a Finnish-built cruise-ferry which is owned and operated by AS Tallink Grupp. She was completed by Aker Finnyards at Rauma in 2002.
Tallink fleet-mate VICTORIA I is a near-sister to ROMANTIKA, having been completed to a slightly revised design in 2004. Both ships measure 193.8m in length and have a beam of 29m.
ROMANTIKA can accommodate up to 2,500 passengers and offers 2,172 berths. She normally serves the Riga – Stockholm route, but following the outbreak of Covid-19 was chartered out by Tallink.
