Since the start of February, the ARMORIQUE of Brittany Ferries has been a regular visitor to Cork. This is a result of the combination of her normal Plymouth – Roscoff service being suspended due to travel restrictions and the Brittany region requiring a post-Brexit direct service to Ireland.
The ARMORIQUE’s current Cork timetable sees;
- A Tuesday arrival from Roscoff at 1400 and a departure for Saint Malo at 2000.
- A Saturday arrival from Saint Malo at 1500 and a departure for Roscoff at 1800.
This timetable is due to remain in force until Brittany Ferries reverts to a full service to France. Currently, this is scheduled to be on 20 June, provided travel restrictions between the UK and France are eased by both countries.
The ARMORIQUE will normally operate a Tuesday Roscoff – Cork sailing with a Wednesday return until the end of October.
Leading ferry photographer Gordon Hislip was at Cork on 29 May to capture the arrival of the ARMORIQUE at the port. We hope you enjoy his gallery of pictures.
