P&O Ferries today released an amended timetable for the period EUROPEAN CAUSEWAY is away for essential dry docking. The timetable sees EUROPEAN HIGHLANDER operating as the sole vessel on the Larne to Cairnryan link for much of September. Dover-based freight Ro-Pax EUROPEAN SEAWAY had been expected to provide cover for ‘Causeway’, but following ‘technical’ issues the former is no longer available.
In a short statement to freight customers, P&O Ferries said the following:
Due to technical issues with our relief dry-dock cover ship, the European Seaway is now unavailable for deployment on Larne-Cairnryan route. The route will operate to a revised sailing schedule from 16.30hrs 2nd -22nd September 2019.
P&O Ferries regret any inconvenience caused to you or your customers.
Thank you for your continued support.
