According to shipping industry publisher Shippax (paywalled), Irish Ferries are to charter a Stena RoRo owned ferry for dry dock relief early in the new year.
As a part of the ongoing development of Stena Line’s Irish Sea route network, the Stena Forecaster is transferred from Stena RoRo to Stena Line and will enter service on the Belfast – Liverpool route from Tuesday, 12 February 2019.

STENA FORERUNNER has left Belfast for Birkenhead for the final time ahead of her replacement, while STENA SUPERFAST VII will go to dry-dock on Monday.
Due to delays in STENA NORDICA starting service on the Rosslare to Cherbourg route, STENA FORERUNNER will make a single round trip on that route on Saturday and Sunday
