The current STENA JUTLANDICA is the third vessel to carry the name and operates between Gothenburg (Sweden) and Frederikshavn (Denmark). She was built by Van de Giessen-de Noord in The Netherlands and completed in 1996.

Irish Ferries’ ISLE OF INISHMORE is a part-sister to STENA JUTLANDICA and shares a similar side profile, however the two vessels differ significantly in accommodation layout and machinery, with STENA JUTLANDICA also built as a train ferry as well as a conventional Ro-Pax.
