P&O Ferries EUROPEAN SEAWAY normally operates as a freight-only ferry between Dover and Calais. She also acts as a passenger and vehicle relief ferry on the Larne to Cairnryan route when required. EUROPEAN SEAWAY was completed by Schichau-Seebeckwerft in 1991 for P&O European Ferries and was designed to carry mainly accompanied freight on the now closed Dover to Zeebrugge route.
The majority of these photos were taken during EUROPEAN SEAWAY‘s maiden spell on the Cairnryan to Larne route in 2017, though when she returned in 2019 she was largely unchanged. The most notable changes to the passenger facilities are the addition of a female toilet block and the replacement of some picnic tables on the open deck area.
This post replaces the previous post from 2017 and includes the photos from that original post in a format more suitable for mobile browsers.
