Irish Continental Group have today confirmed, in their 2017 annual results presentation, that WESTPAC EXPRESS is to be renamed DUBLIN SWIFT. She is currently in Harland & Wolff's Belfast Dry Dock (BDD) having arrived there at around 14:30 yesterday afternoon.

Irish Ferries Visentini RoPax EPSILON is due to dry dock at Harland and Wolff, Belfast with arrival on Monday evening, 5th Feb. She will join fellow Irish Ferries vessel WESTPAC EXPRESS at Harland & Wolff, which is currently undergoing refurbishment and conversion at the yard.

Irish Continental Group have announced the sale of the Dublin - Holyhead Austal catamaran JONATHAN SWIFT to Balearia Eurolineas Maritimas S.A (Balearia) for €15.5m. She will be replaced by the larger WESTPAC EXPRESS which is currently undergoing refurbishment in Belfast.

As revealed earlier in the week on the NI Ferry (and shipping) Enthusiasts Facebook group (and the sister Ferries! Facebook group), the former US Navy Austal built catamaran WESTPAC EXPRESS is due to arrive at Harland and Wolff on Monday.
